There are a lot of symptoms of knee pain. The first symptom is some swelling and stiffness in the knee. The second symptom is a redness in the knee. The third symptom is a fever or warmth when you touch the knee. The fourth symptom is a weakness in the knee. The fifth symptom is the inability to stand on the knee. The sixth symptom is some popping or crunching noises in the knee. The seventh symptom is when a person’s knee locks when you try to walk. The eighth symptom is not being able to straighten up your knee.
Knee Pain Treatment
There are a few different treatments for knee pain that a person can do at home. The first treatment is to rest the knee with a small pillow under your knee. This means not doing any activities that could cause pain in your knee. The second treatment is to put ice on the knee. This will help to reduce some of the swelling in the knee. The third treatment is wrapping up the knee with an ace wrap. This will also help reduce the swelling of the knee. The fourth treatment is to elevate your knee.
Knee Pain Prevention
There are several things that a person can do to prevent knee pain. The first thing is to stretch before you do some activities. The second thing is to avoid the activities that could aggravate your knee. The third thing is to arch supported shoes while you are doing certain activities. The fourth thing is to avoid wearing high heels if you can. The fifth thing is to wear the right shoes for whatever sport you can playing. The sixth thing is to replace your running shoes every 300 to 500 miles.
Knee Pain Exercises
There are a lot of different exercises that a person can do to avoid knee pain. The first exercise is to stretch your hamstring. The second exercise is to stretch your calf muscles. The third exercise is to do a set of quads. The fourth exercise is to squeeze a pillow in between your knees. The fifth exercise is to balance your body weight on one leg. The sixth exercise is to do some step ups. The seventh exercise is to simply walk. The eighth exercise is to do some water aerobics or swim. The ninth exercise is to ride your bike.
